Little Miss Sunshine

It absolutely pelted with rain this morning - the clouds rolled on in and it became so dark it seemed like it was 6 in the evening rather than 8 in the morning. I had planned a bear blip today (long overdue) but was rather dubious I would get one. Then, low and behold the sun gods came out smiling in the afternoon - putting on a rather splendid show, with some blue sky thrown in for good measure! This is Manga taking full advantage of the good weather. She and her best friend Amara have only had enclosure access for a couple of weeks, but you can see how much fun Manga is having soaking up the fresh air and exploring the climbing structures.

I also managed to capture another bird shot today! (shock, horror). I was all excited and ready to blip my Grey Wagtail (Motacilla cinerea), but sadly realised it has already been tagged in the big blip year challenge. These little wagtails are contstant moves with their tail bobbing up and down, up and down, flashing their little yellow rump ever so cheekily! Oh well, looks like I'll have to wait til I'm on home soil to get a few more under my belt ;)
