Unusual

Like so many others we have had to change summer plans. We should have been in Scotland now, but we are content to travel around the county looking at the beautiful old churches. We had our picnic in a very unusual place today, the cloister at an old abbey. It is tropical hot and we wanted a place with a long shade time, so this was perfect. The priest told us that we were not the first to use the cloister for picnic and he thought it was perfectly ok.
Extra: Today's second church had an interesting wrestling scene from the 15th century. The scene's message is a mystery.
Second extra: The painter/artist is not a mystery. He has painted a self-portrait in a corner. So selfies are an old tradition.
