Bird through a wire...

Spent far too long trying to capture an image of a blue Damsel Fly but the only flying thing I got in focus was a big fat bird.

In other news...  The Water Hen family have raised their second brood, the Coot's have a family of four and the Mallards seem to have chicks all over the pond.

I'm taking some consolation that St Regent's Park pond is covered in weed as well as mine.  The man at the pond specialists told me this year was perfect for Blanket weed; something to do with an over supply of nutrients.
