Lavender

...and roses, doubly exposed! Another glorious day, did some gentle gardening but it was too hot even for that...I’ve retired to the patio!!

We headed to the coast last night for the first time this summer, it was so nice to feel the cool sea breeze gently blowing. It’s a shame the beach was covered in jelly fish so I didn’t remove my footwear! Our longer walk was curtailed due to part of the walkway at Torness being under repair and impassable but the change of scenery for just a short while was very welcome.

I’m reliably informed the bees have settled in well and are currently very busy harvesting pollen to feed the babies!
