Seen on the sand dunes

I don't know what this is but it was hiding in some foliage as we were walking over the sand dunes this morning. If anyone knows what it is I would be most grateful!
It was lovely to have an early walk as it wasn't too hot and walking  on the sand with the tide out, there was plenty of room for social distancing!
