Morning...

.................................Mist

Before sunrise we revisited Lake Matheson area for photos of the morning mist and a chance for more photos of the mountains reflected in the lake as the sun rose above the horizon. We weren’t disappointed surrounded by nature and beauty.

This morning we walked around the lake in reverse to yesterday’s circuit. Just as magical and as a bonus several different coloured fungi were discovered and recorded. Still no sign of a blue fungi though!

The Fox Glacier was looking amazing from a distance towering above the town of Fox and the local countryside. (See first extra) The warm, sunny, windless weather continues.
The second extra was taken yesterday and much closer to the glacier on our walk along the Fox River to designated viewing points - the closest the public are allowed to walk for safety reasons.

The internet and phone coverage has been out for hours and hours after a contractor evidently cut vital cables - repairs weren’t expected to be completed until tomorrow afternoon, but it finally flickered into life this evening which meant I could check my blip for the first time since I uploaded it last night. I was absolutely thrilled to see it sitting high on the first of the popular pages. I am so grateful for the comments, stars and hearts and send you all a huge thank you.

NOTE
Most nights it has been a struggle uploading to blip, but it proved almost impossible tonight.
