Game Of Death
We play Game Of Life. Five thousand years ago, the Egyptians played Game Of Death. This game was called senet, meaning "passing," and was intended to win you a fortuitous entry into the afterlife. This is a replica of a game of senet found in King Tut's tomb.
Tiring but enjoyable work realising Year Four's physical and virtual Egyptian and Sumerian Museum today. A rewarding close to their unit of study about this fascinating subject.
Last day of the school year tomorrow. Oh how I will miss them, but next year's class seem like treasures too.
