Three for dinner....

....but there were actually four kookaburras visiting at the time, just one was a bit camera shy and stayed on the clothesline, while this three gobbled down the mince!

I've been trying for ages to get a shot of the four together, but the maximum I can manage has been three.

These three kookaburras are all young ones, so I had to take the photos through the window. They are still eyeing me with suspicion when I get too close and fly away as I lift the camera.

I'll keep on trying to get a shot of the four of them. I wonder if they are siblings, but then that leads me to another question, who are the parents? Kookaburras are such communal birds, so I will probably never know the answer to that.
