A bit of Border

The weather outside is quite pleasant this morning, so Mrs GOG and I decided to do the first tiny bit of work in the garden this year. Dougal came out with us together with Florence and decided to prove that he is fitter than we thought by climbing our Bramley apple tree while I was supposed to be keeping an eye on him; no chance, he is much too fast. This blip is a picture of part of one of our borders, where Mrs GOG is about to plant the three small slow-growing conifers; at the bottom of the picture. Dougal is currently sound asleep having worn himself out.
