Danny Boy

The day started oh so well with the arrival of a letter from Sole in prison! I've been sending short photo cards every few days, so it was soooo good to hear from her. She's eagerly awaiting when volunteers are allowed back into prison so she and Danny can pray together. She also requested photos of her youngest son, so Nate and I immediately went to the photo shop to print some off for her and get them into the post asap.
Danny's day has been very car focussed - getting it towed to a garage ready for them to look at it.
Nate and I pottered around town. We saw one of our Italian friends who lives on the streets - he's looking so well! He's got a tent and has been given a bike, and clearly feels good! Tonight as I cooked tea I heard a shout from the street below and he was just cycling past to say 'happy evening' to us!
Collected a tired and happy Asha from her friends, also very very sunburnt! Have aloe vera'd her to the max and given her paracetamol, poor love.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Sole's letter. So grateful she took the time and effort.
2) Asha being home - Nate's been like a lost soul without her.
3) Hearing Ricardo say Coronavirus saved his life - he got off the streets and off the substances. now he's back on the streets but clean and feeling hopeful and healthy.
