Heath

I think this is the first half decent photo of a Small Heath that I've managed this year, so I'll share that while the going is good.  I did also meet some fine grasshoppers though (extras). All from a late afternoon walk along Baildon Bank and back through Baildon Green in the baking heat.  I did check to see if the Purple Hairstreaks were out, but no sign yet.

I had a writing deadline today, which meant an 05.00 start and aching arthritic fingers by the time I'm typing this entry. So I'll keep it short.
