Woodsman

Just for the day, a visit to 'the field' was to yield a bounty of firewood. Around 25 years ago, I remember all this was grass and a field rightly named.

It has been left for most of these years, untouched with the gate closed for nature to do its thing.

The woodburner will be well fed, as will Flo's, thanks to her for the pic of me axe wielding on a cold January Saturday, for the hot drinks and hot dogs.
