Silver Y Moth

An unusually cooperative insect.  I saw this moth fly into some Lily of the Valley foliage, just far enough to spoil a pic and in attempting to move a leaf or two the moth flew away but was later found on a window frame in the conservatory where it appeared happy to pose!  Apparently it is a very common European moth, but not one I can remember seeing before
