Snowdrops...
Always try and get some shots each year, as many of us like to do.
Sun coming out now, after this cloudy start.
Originally an idea to use the Gorilla Pod, like yesterday but wide aperture and changing, manual fine-tuned focus meant crawling on hands on knees, in a garden. This is a small clump of snowdrops, made to look bigger by wide perspective and out of focus background. Wanted to something a bit different to the usual, hence this way of taking.
Macro lens? No. The very close-focussing (0.2m) 20mm ultrawide f1.8 Sigma, here wide open. (on full-frame D700). A Nikon prime wideangle lens would focus closest at 0.3-0.4 m.
