Blue Damselfly

A scorcher of a day today, I believe it reached 30C this afternoon and I chose to stay indoors for much of the time. later in the day when it was cooler, I was thrilled to catch these damselflies near the pond, the light was good, and I had the correct shutter speed . ...the shot is sooc.
Earlier dear G had a break from working at home and came round for an hour or so, it was so good to see her and have a catch up on our news. She was actually 'allowed' to come indoors!
Both neighbours have been working in their gardens........mad!!
