Summer

Summer had returned when I got up this morning, so I took a couple of hours off work to enjoy a walk around the Estate with Django. It was not only beautiful, but peaceful. In the past few months the Estate has been much busier than usual at times, and some people have abused it with bad parking, litter and intrusions into the Clerk family's private areas. To counter this, presumably, the official car park is now open again, an ad hoc parking area has been closed off with posts, and today I saw fencing is going up to deter people from going where, previously, those who respected the Estate simply knew you were not supposed to go. It's a shame, but I don't know what else the family can do. Thankfully in Scotland, it's not possible to prevent public access to such an area (as a whole).

Thanks for all the acknowledgements of last night's "Brock"
