MORNING JOURNEYS

It's been months since I've had a walk along the prom, and even longer since I got up quite so early, but I had such an early night yesterday that I was awake before 5am and got down there soon after 5.30am. It looks as though another great oil platform is being towed in to be broken up, and I caught it as it was passing the Headland. There were people on the Heugh (the breakwater at the Headland) and you may just be able to see a bike. Extra is another boat heading for Teesmouth at a much greater speed.
