Something Completely Different

Dear Diary,

I've always been attracted to images like this.  In the past, I photographed them in black and white but I quite like this one in color with a hint of the wooden window showing.  I need a break from the bugs and butterflies and flowers.  John came yesterday and we cleared the spent Iris and daffodil foliage.  Still more tidying to do but that can wait until tomorrow.  They are forecasting heavy thunderstorms this afternoon.  We can do without the lightning but the rain, if it comes, will be very welcome.
