Winterbourne Garden Bridge
Today was a perfect winter day; it was cold but beautifully sunny. We took advantage of our annual membership of Winterbourne House and Garden. As well as having lunch there we briefly looked around the gardens and also viewed the upstairs rooms which are open to the public for the first time this year.
Not surprisingly, the gardens don't look at their best at this time of the year, but it is a good time to take this view of the 1930s Japanese Bridge. In the summer it is almost obscured by huge gunnera plants which surround it.
I first blipped Winterbourne on 1st July last year.
