Poires

Our two pear trees are already laden, but won't be ripe for a couple of months yet.  The trouble is they all ripen at the same time, and you just can't eat that many pears.  So the plan this year is to make pear cider - or "perry", as it is called.  Drunken winter to come - probably in lockdown again.
