Day 39

Beautiful morning for a fisheye Wednesday.  Had a bit of a garden overhaul yesterday so my morning potter surveying the results revealed some nice self-heal has popped up and this daringly frilly poppy has burst forth - seemingly overnight.

The hoverflies are superb at the moment - they are a tiny bundle of smooth perfection.  Any biologists know how fast their wings go and what speed you’d have to shoot at to freeze the action?......
