Queen of the night

My large old rather ugly trailing cactus has flowered! This is quite a rare occurrence, and reminds me why I keep it... the flower, known as Queen of the Night, is huge, about 35 cm across and just as long, and lasts for just one night. Here I've propped it up on a pot of purslain for easier photographing. The stalk top right is part of the cactus itself.
