"Crystals"
...Don't you just love them? This one, we've had for a few years now..
We have lots of them hanging on fishing line, in our kitchen window, where they shall pick up light and look even prettier.
They last forever, and ever, and some of them tell us a story..
One we have is in the shape of a STAR ...
... This one - I asked our little grandson, aged 6, if he would hold it for Nanna, and when we look at it - we shall know he is still counting the Stars for Nanna and Papa..you see, he was dying of a brain tumour and he knew that, and I told him then, that he would be "Counting the Stars for Nanna and Papa and when he had counted them all - then he would come back.."
And so, this beautiful, gorgeous looking and talented 6yr old understood that Nanna and Papa would be looking at his Star - forever, and forever...
A HINT from Estelle: To clean the crystals easliy - you don't have to take them down and mess about - you just take a jug (or cup) of warm, soapy water - 1 drop of soap - and just place under each crystal, one at a time and DIP upwards until you've covered the crystal with the soapy water, then, do the same with a rinse. Then dry with a cloth.
All done, very quickly and the crystals will sparkle once more..
