Normality
I went to National Trust property - Knightshayes today. It almost felt 'normal' - well except for the 2m rule and the fact that six people arrived in six different cars to form a '2m' walking group! Not a lot of walking done really but a lot of catching up which was fabulous. Feels like a long time since we had our last get together - in November 2019 I believe!
The weather was amazingly hot - we wandered amongst the trees and had our picnic in the shade too. So wonderful to be out and about acting 'normal'.
The whole thing was well organised - a half hour time slot to come in and one could stay as long as one liked but to be honest we never felt as if there were too many people about.
We were able to buy tea and coffee and one toilet was open (essential!) and everyone was very respectful of others and keeping distance etc.
All in all a grand day out.
