Life from city to village

Working from Home

I have been working from home again today.  Although my 7am task was to empty the veg trug of the lake it had become in a probably wasted effort to rescue my lettuces. The weather was supposed to be hot, but it has been cloudy most of the day, although I've been in meetings. At least until my WiFi crashed around 4pm and I had to finish the meeting via telephone call.

I have decided to tackle the lockdown extra weight via the 5:2 diet - largely because I need to shrink my appetite, as I was feeling hungry so often. So this morning it has been porridge, followed by salad for lunch - and that's it. Bar 2 apples. Yes I am hungry. But it will be worth it.

After work I popped into the garden to take a shot of this bee on the geranium. There weren't many bees around, unusually.

My working from home office is now a great space. I can close the door to enable privacy, - all I need now is a decent chair.
