Mount Doom!

My husband and I were walking home from a lovely dinner in Taupo, as we reached the hostel we turned around to see the most amazing colours in the sky. I had my compact camera in my bag so started running down to the lake front to take some pictures. After a big meal and wine and in flip flops this wasn't as easy as it sounds. I missed the best shot but the sky is still so incredible in this picture. We are keeping our fingers crossed for a few more days nice weather as in two days time we plan to climb Mt Doom!
