Silvereye

It looks like he's having a snooze but he was in fact preening himself.  I think the sunshine and blue skies were lifting his spirits as well as mine.  It was a very cool start (that's winter for ya!) but it was nice to get out into the garden and do just a little bit of work with the sun on my back.  Talking of my back - I seem to have developed a bit of sciatica over the past couple of days which really is a pain in the bum!  Once I'm moving it's not so bad but once I still myself.......oooooohhh.....it's sore.  I can't find a comfortable sitting position and the last couple of nights have been quite restless as turning over is very sore.  The chiropractor I used a few years ago (and was awesome) has retired now and I find myself somewhat reluctant to try someone new. Either Mother Nature and Father Time's healing hands will help me or I'll have to step out into the unknown. Hmmmmm

In COVID news today - 2 new cases and one case now recovered leaving us with 10 active cases.  I wonder why we seem to be going up in twos?
