Barred Owl

After doing some cross-country skiing at Carver Park, we went into the Visitor Center, looking for a blip. We found this beautiful owl being carried around by the naturalist. We were told that she is a Barred Owl and was found injured. You can see that she is missing one eye. She now has her own little house and fenced in area where she lives behind the Visitor Center. She does not have a name, she is known as The Owl. She seemed very content sitting on the girl's hand and just looking around.
