How lovely to see him again, along with three of his pals. Had a text alert from D who was outside having a fag, so just pointed the camera out of the window and snapped repeatedly at random (if I saw a bat and then snapped it would be too late). They were swooping really close to the window and I saw at least three at once.

But this was the only frame (out of over thirty) where the dark smudge is plausibly a bat. Pipistrelle, probably.
