Blossom Fall

A good day.  We had a couple of friends around for a long lunch - one had just passed a significant birthday worthy of some celebration.  And guidelines on social distancing etc were respected.  It felt good to catch up.  In fact, it has been quite a sociable few days.
Outside the weather has been more like November; blustery and occassionally wet.  The blossom off the Californian lilac has been wonderful for the past few weeks and much of it lies strewn amongst the pebbles.  Pretty.
