Control the Virus

I went on a really interesting site visit in Fitzrovia today. They are excavating in what used to be an asylum where they apparently used to also bury the bodies. A team of archaeologists are digging this quite big area quite painstakingly slowly. I asked whether they'd found anything interesting and the project manager took me over to a corner where three skeletons were half exposed in the ground. It was really eerie. They've been dated to the late 1700s. It's fascinating to look and wonder what their stories were. A bit gruesome too. I wonder what else is under our feet as we walk the streets obliviously.
