Green and pleasant land

Mostly. Apart from the bits that aren’t green, although they are still pleasant. Bit of an understatement now I think of it. Should have been green and bloody lovely land, but I’m sure Blake had his reasons. Gorgeous. That would have worked. Still two syllables. Or luscious even ...

We had a fab walk from Silent Pool up the hill and across to Newlands Corner and then back again. About 6.5k I think. The first bit is really really steep I would say 1 in 4 or maybe even 1 in 5. I was glad to have both my sticks with me as the ground is really rutted and full of roots. Likewise going downhill.

Lovely weather. Gorgeous. Luscious. Bloody lovely...
