Gothic Morning

I can't resist a crow in the mist.

I'm always lamenting the lack of colorful birds where I live, but I do so love these black beauties. I wish I could get one comfortable enough to sit still when I show up with the camera but they usually fly just far emough away to feel safe. I ply them with peanuts and bread which they love, but they just don't want to get close. Gosh, maybe I should buy a longer lens.........
