A day at the beach

Early start so we could drive up to the sunshine coast for breakfast then onto the beach. Lovely sunny day and very warm already- thank goodness for my daughter's little beach tent to protect me from the strong aussie sun. Love watching these guys bodysurfing on these huge waves- scary when they seem to disappear under them for ages!
Evidence of the aftermath of the recent cyclone but on the positive side, the vegetation that survived is sending up fresh green shoots after their prolonged watering!
