Summertime

Steph stayed over yesterday so we had a lovely companiable morning and a salad lunch in the garden before she left. Adventure Girl is having a half day at school today. She’s very excited to see her friends. We will hear from her at the end of the week.
I took the DSLR out in the garden before the sun hid itself away and this afternoon I’m drinking G&T and cracking on with the latest Hilary Mantel. What a tale and how well told.
