An afternoon trip to the Lodge was needed.  While there obviously I needed decided to look for a blip.  Among the many things which caught my eye were the Red Hot Pokers.

As kids they were always called Red Hot Pokers and it always seemed strange to me.  The hottest part of the poker would be the tip having been deepest in the flame.  So the tip would be the lightest in colour.
