Fathers day

Since the golf courses have been opened I am a golf widow once again. Golf and football back on the TV so we have ‘debates’ about what to watch! Actually I don’t mind OH playing golf as it gives me some time at home.

Today my little one came home to join his dad playing golf. And he beat him! The photograph is of OH wearing his new Father’s Day present.

The weather was lovely but I had planned indoor jobs as I wanted to get my sewing machine out (inspired by sewing bee). However it was one of those frustrating occasions when things didn’t go right. The fabric was too small for the ironing board cover I was planning to make and I’ve run out of thread. However I did manage to make a hair scrunchy for my boy. Probably can’t see it in this picture but as his ‘mane’ is so thick it takes two or three bands to hold it. Was he pleased with his scrunchy? Not one for effusive gratitude he seemed quite pleased as is wearing it.

Fairly normal day just missing my daughter and wishing she could be with us too. However she is home in two weeks and I can’t wait.
