Valkenburg again

We agreed to leave again on Sundays at 7am, because it is just as busy on the road as before. It is a pity.
We also wonder whether it is wise to stay in South Limburg during our holiday, because it will be busy here for 6 weeks. Even then we probably have to leave every day at 7am if we want to cycle and walk. I hope someone gets the idea to open the terraces earlier than 10 in the morning. Sometimes I want a nice coffee with something tasty. Or even better, breakfast in the sun.

We discussed a holiday home at the campsite in the Amsterdamse Bos. It seems to be less busy in Amsterdam than in our area. Bert is going to check it out tomorrow. We will also have to rent a car and also want to know if we could go to the van Gogh museum, now that they work in museums with appointments and time slots. Hopefully it will be okay to visit a museum. In any case, we can leave if it turns out to be too busy.
Even though the majority of the Dutch population seems to pretend that nothing is wrong, the whole Covid event makes me quite nervous. I am aware that it was already too busy before the lockdown and that that has nothing to do with the whole situation, but now there is also an unknown caution in which only I seem to have to take care of my safety. Others laugh you in the face if you ask them to take the distance into account.
