Happy Father's Day

A Father's Day of extremes - difficult for my wife being the 1st since her Father's death, but also the joy of being the 1st with my grandson.

My daughter and partner brought along the food pre-prepared, travelled to Hull and back, then cooked it for us on their return. The quality of the food shone through from the days of prep and marinading etc - just superb!

Intermittent shower bursts continued our record with picnics. Fab cards n pressies from both my/our children too!

Really like the painting..am convinced it's not just Grandpa goggle eyes (:-
