A picnic!

I met my friend Cathy at a park in Mesa. We got there at 6 a.m. so that we could enjoy ourselves without being hot. It had been 4 months since we last got together. She has the challenge of her life with her just turned 65 year old husband is really failing with either Alzheimer or Dementia. He is being tested soon for Lewy Body because she is pretty sure he has hallucinated.

On a good note while we were there she got a gender reveal video from her daughter that we watched together. She was sure it's a girl, it's a boy. It was fun watching it and it was wonderful to see her face light up. Particularly since this daughter had been trying to get pregnant and miscarried in December. She is 3 and 1/2 months so things look better this time around.

And our tarts that I got at the farmers market were outstanding. One was a savory tart, the other a peach tart that came with a delicious glaze. They guy who made them used to work at the Four Season's and won all kinds of awards. Yum!
