A busy day for Alan today communication wise . 1st his cousin phoned to say happy birthday, followed immediately by our daughter Rachael to wish happy Father’s Day then happy birthday. Consequently he missed most of the church serve but joined just in time to hear the end of the sermon and be wished happy birthday. I said I dint it want it sung tome so I think I was just wished a haPay birthday. I was t there. Then after lunch our oldercanadian son phoned to say hPpy birthday and Father’s Day. Then around 4pm our time Abigale sang happy birthday to him as did Christie and her brother and her dad from another phone. The wonders of modern technology.
Christie was telling us of matts night shift. You cou,don’t make it up. At 6:30pm they took a patient to another hospital and called into Tim hortons for a coffee and snack which they didn’t get as they were called to an overdose. That was fixed with drugs so got back to Tim hortons for their food. Then they were called out to a 2 car rollover but on the way hit a deer. RCMP we’re behind them so took them back to base to get another ambulance. They attended the accident and finally got back to base at5:40 am to fill in paper work re the hit deer and damaged ambulance. But they had to go back to where they left the ambulance to get the correct details. Breath then home to bed
