Daisy's backside

Slept well and woke up feeling much more like my old self.....so was out for a run just after 9.30. Felt good too, managed all the runs without stopping short, plus a couple of extras, too. I'd done my 10k by the time I got back home. Freshened up, made a coffee, just in time for daughters arrival with her Fathers Day card and gift. The boys had already sent theirs too.....so hubs been spoiled. I got him a little dog tag keyring that reads "This granddad belongs to" and it has 5 separate tags, each with one of the granddaughters names on.

After a couple of hours with daughter in the summerhouse, we had a late brunch, which we were both ready for and thoroughly enjoyed.

The afternoon was spent reading, drinking tea, pottering a little, having a chat with our new neighbours, met their two little cocker spaniels, Harvey & Daisy too. Harvey is a nosy little fella, went into our back garden and took a dip in the pond lol!!

Talking about daisies.....todays blip is the back of some of my daisies after I had secured them with string & stakes, I hadn't realised how pretty their undersides actually are!!

Dinner tonight was roast chicken with all the trimmings....very nice it was too!

The weather never quite lived up to its billing again today, a few really heavy showers during the afternoon and evening, not much sun.....the coming week looks much more promising though :-)
