Pretty bubbles in the air.

Ms Geek had a dance workshop at school, and got an invite to Dance Amazing, a 2 day "dance maze" event at Aberdeen's Beach Ballroom.

And so we went.

It was amazing (for once, pun not intended;-). Set up as a series of rooms, canvas strung from the ceilings to turn prosaic spaces into to something altogether more magical. Some rooms were playful, others more traditional dance...art broken down into digestible chunks. Ms Geek already dances, so she was predictably excited...but the wee fella was particularly struck by Yin-Yang, dance fusion which verged on martial art at times...what I thought probably the least immediately accessible piece of art for a 3 year old. (I had a shot of them, but photography wasn't allowed as there were too many children around. My shot didn't have any kids in, but I didn't want to use the performers without their permission)

This was the top of a stairwell, filled with balloons...and no worries about image rights!
