Back Beach Washing

There is a saying that if a patch of blue sky is big enough to make a sailor's shirt then the sun will shine.
It was quite easy to make a guess today on the Back Beach in Teignmouth because there was a line of washing blowing in the breeze.

It turned into a lovely day after a wet and misty morning. 
Jorgie and I had our afternoon stroll along the beach and the seafront, picking our way through loads of people cramming together on the small areas of sand as the tide came in. Sadly there didn't appear to be any social distancing.
