Today I had a bad cough so took the day off and stayed at home - I've got a lot of semi-public speaking tomorrow so need my voice.
I got up late and pottered around then, as always happens when I take a day off, got bored and did a bit of house-stuff.
One defrosted freezer and a steam-cleaned set of dining chairs later it was somehow the evening and I hadn't taken a blip.

My painting of a boy was bought with my first pay packet from the NAO, he's by Thomas Binney Gibbs and was apparently exhibited at the R.A. He remains one of my favourite things.
