Summer solstice
Day with the horses today. Me and Juliet rode out this morning. My back was a bit sore from Thursday but it was good to be out. We had a little canter as Lime felt good and kept asking to go!
The kids had a lesson with Shona. Tobes is doing so well. He's got to work on his lower leg position as it's too far back and making him tip forward. We also had a lady out to check his saddle as it seems to have dropped on one side. She added a bit of stuffing but said it's not necessarily all the saddle and that he could have some muscle wastage on his rh shoulder so she advised to wait and see what the chiropractor says in a couple of weeks and have another chat then. She said the saddle is not moving about at the moment with the kids but when someone heavier gets on him like Georgia or Diane then to check is not moving about too much then. So still not 100% sorted.
This evening we met up with the Castledines at Beacon. Had a lovely walk for an hour or so then sat on the top to watch the sunset and had some beers and a catch up. Lovely evening. These Highland cows were wandering around below us. They are so used to human company and it was really relaxing watching them.
