Happy Birthday.....

A long day of birthday celebrations with special and long-standing friends today! (Not my birthday!)

It began with a wonderful meal in The Earl Spencer in Southfields, West London for starter and main course, then moved back to the birthday girl's home where she had prepared a dessert and opened the champagne!

I am VERY full and won't need another thing to eat....'til breakfast tomorrow morning. And I am sure everyone else feels as replete as me! ( A word my dad used to use and always impressed me as a child though I had no idea what it meant. The dictionary tells me it is old-fashioned!)
