Good days work

Spent yesterday and half of today emptying the garage. We had arranged with Stuart next door that we would go half's on a skip to get rid of all our rubbish. The skip came yesterday evening and he filled it totally, and still had stuff left over. I now have a lot of junk on my drive and nowhere to put it. Ordered my own skip, 50% bigger than the first one, hopefully the shed and possibly the roof can be cleared.
This PM we cut the grass, its been growing madly in the warm and wet of the last few days, strimmed the edges and generally tidied up. Then sat and enjoyed the view with a large G n T.
I was really surprised later to find that it was nine thirty and I was still reading yesterdays newspaper outside with no lights on. Longest day and shortest night.
