Hollyhocks

Jane and I were sitting at the end of our garden.  I had my camera and telephoto in the vain hope that the robin would keep still long enough to get a shot (it didn't!)

These hollyhocks were nicely back-lit.  I am staggered by how sharp this hand-held 300mm telephoto shot is (600mm full frame equivalent).   I didn't see the little insect on the right hand flower until I downloaded it.
