After the weather had kept us in for a couple of days, deciding whether to move to higher ground or build an Ark, Stanley and I made it out to Haresfield Beacon.

Just as we got there, the heavens opened again!

It is not mist of fog in this photo, it is rain!  We were standing under a natural canopy, waiting for a break in the deluge to make a dash back to the car.

The rest of the day was very similar, either sitting in blazing sun or dodging pouring rain
